I have a broken LCD screen. It has hardly ever been used but is roughly three years old so I very much doubt that it is still in its warranty period. It started to become responsive when the PC booted up and refused to come on even if a signal was present. Now it is completely black and it doesn't even have the orange stand by light on when plugged in.
Would it be worth my while fixing it, or should I just bin it and forget it.

I had an LCD monitor stop working twice, and one time it was the fault of the cable and another time, the digital option went out but I could still use the analog side (it uses a diff cable so it still coulda been the cable).
hope this helps

If no power light then its a power issue rather than the screen itself.

go with a cheap option and look at the cord going from it to the comp.

It's definitely not the power lead. I have tried a couple that are proven to work.
