Of course, he's the fellow with the chin...the star of the Evil Dead trilogy. I think there's even a player on this site named 'boomstick', as in 'this is my boomstick'.

Shop smart, shop S-mart.

Thank God! I'm glad someone knows what my ramblings are all about. I'm a big fan of his. I'll bet I can name some things you've seen him in and didn't even know it, he he. 😉

Well I knew who he was, and the way he only seems to find work if Sam Raimi happens to be making a film. (They must have made a deal as boys or something)

Good 'ol Sam Raimi! I know nobody here probably cares, but Sam and Bruce grew up just a few blocks from one another. The Evil Dead was both of thems first movie, based upon a college film they did together. If you've watched Spiderman recently, you might want to take a closer look at the ring announcer in the wrestling scene. For further triva, just ask! 😀

Love Mr Campbell...I saw his bio at a store last week, didn't buy it, but I'm getting it today! I'm sure it will be a brilliant read...

Farewell to arms...was the whole movie designed around that joke?

Yes, I too! I have a limited numbered DVD edition of Army of Darkness. A fun movie.

Yeah, didn't Bruce and Sam grow up in Grand Rapids, Michigan which is where the character Ash lives in the Evil Dead films?
Also, Ted Raimi (Sam's brother) plays a part in Evil Dead III and is more famous as Joxster (sp?) in the cheesy Hercules and Xena series which also features Bruce Campbell occasionally as King of the Thieves!

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond.

1) Good choice in buying Bruce Campbells book "If Chins Could Kill". It is a very fun read and very informative about him.

2) Yes, both Bruce and Sam grew up in Grand Rapids. As a trivia note, the first two movies were shot in Tennesse.

3)Ted Raimi is both in Evil Dead II and III. Most notably in II as he was the person in the "old woman" suit.

4) While the movie was not based around the loss of the character Ash's arm, I give you major kudos for noticing the "Farewell to Arms" joke. It has escaped many of the most dedicated deadites.

Go ahead! Try to stump me. I know more about Bruce Campbell than is probably healthy (but it's not like I stalk him or anything). 😀
