Simply go to "My Home" to the left of "My Settings" on the upper horizontal bar of your screen.
When the Menu appears, click on "My Buddies". Welcome to Red Hot Pawn. - Bob

That is the old method, which doesn't work since the new interface arrived.

Now, you just find the person's profile and click on "add buddy". The old way always insisted on a perfectly correct spelling of the person's name, including spaces and capitals, so this is a great improvement.

Since he's played 12 Games with 5 in progress, I'd be inclined to believe he already
has a few friends; besides, why else would a new member ask in a public forum?

With the helpful information given here, I'm sure meterman will be fine (and am pleased he took the initiative to ask).

Did you tell meterman that the information you gave him is wrong?

Sent a Welcoming Message to him last night, letting him know an answer had been posted
to his question; and wished him the same enjoyment I've experienced since joining.
