Actually, over the board, I've got a pretty shocking record against girls. The first time I lost to a woman that I recall, was when I joined the Hutt Valley Chess club as a lad and lost to Mrs Boyack. Actually, I'd thought she was just there to make the tea or something, because I thought that that's how sports clubs operated. And she DID make the tea too. Even gave me an extra chocolate biscuit after she'd dispatched me. Rather kind, I thought.
My over the board record against men, on the other hand, is totally shocking. And I'm not quite sure I like the direction this is heading. Possibly it's time I starting only playing against animals, though that could still be slightly risky. Maybe I should limit myself to playing shrubs, or the odd tree if I'm feeling on form?
I'd definitely have to be wary of having an accident with a sharp piece of fruit though .................

One does not make friends by throwing matches. One makes friends by being confident, funny and nice.
If you need to resign to make someone happy, then that person isn't worth it.

The game you resigned seems like freddie has a little mouse slip moving the queen to h1 rather than h2 (hanging the queen rather than mating). It was lost apart from that. You did the nice thing and chose to resign when you had been bested.
