Calling all PC - Gamers out here

Hello all,

I've got a brand-spanking new computer and finally managed to have everything installed (well sort off)... It runs on a 2800+ AMD Semperon, 512MB ram and got a 128MB GeForce 5200 Graphics card ... So far so good ...

Am looking for potential PC-Games ...

I like strategy ... In the past I've played Hero's of Might and Magic 3 (anyone got the Wake of Gods upgrade ??) ...

Any suggestions would be more then welcome

Try Civilization 3 its also a turn-based strategy game like heroes of might amd magic.Of course for strategy rts you can go for Warcraft3,ceaser3,tiberian sun,Kohan and if you want rpg Diablo 2 lod,halflife .My personal favourites are civilization3,diablo 2,warcraft 3 in that order.

Rome Total War ... the ultimate turn-based and RTS game on the market now.

And now some games that will stretch the limits of your brand-spanking new computer 🙂:

- Perimeter
- Command&Conquer Generals
- Nexus - The Jupiter Incident
- Rome: Total War.

I should say: download some demo's and try them!

If you really want to put that comp to good use get Far Cry, Unreal Tournament 2004, the MechWarrior series is always good fun multiplayer, the Age of Mythology... Just go to the store and get what looks good.

Wow ... Thanks for all the answers ... What are all your shortcuts (RTS ??) ...

I'm gonna get Unreal Tournament 2004 (I've played an older version and although it's more action, it was quite cool)

Anyone any advance of Rome Total War (that sounded best) ??

rts--- real-time strategy game sort of managing kingdom,heroes etc
rpg----role-playing games usually 3d games with first person action.

Strategy:-

Rome: Total War
Starcraft
Warcraft 2 and 3

RPG:-

Morrowind: The elder scrolls 3 (best RPG ever)
Neverwinter nights + addons (my 2nd best ever)

1st Person:-

Any of the Unreal series (especially Tournament)
Farcry
Doom 3


Note:- These are just my personal faves and not to everyones taste, but some of these will sure get the best out of your system
