Hi Chaps
Would you beleive that this site has prompted me to learn PHP? Well there you go, funny the way things work. I'm so busy coding (learning) no time for chess!
Can any one recommend some good sites for PHP resources like learning, free code, etc etc.
Thanx muchly

For a bunch of GPL code in general, try www.sourceforge.net.

For Coding in general, with a healthy hit of PHP, try devshed. http://www.devshed.com/c/b/PHP/

Also try phpbuilder.com

PHP is fun and rewarding, especially when tied with a database.

I got a book from the public library to get me started, and after that I learned a LOT from looking at the code of the phpBB forum (www.phpbb.com). Especially if you want things as registered users, logging in and the like. It took some time to crack the (not commented) code, but after that there is a wealth of information.
