Why make them out of something that will snap?
Why put them where they are impossible to replace?
Why design it so they wreck all the valves when they go?
why?

i could ask some similar questions about bicycle tyres.

they're probably a lot cheaper to make than chains.

I have the gear linkage blues at the moment 🙁
