Hey Canuks, Happy Canada Day! I was listening to world band radio and came across the CBC on 13655 today and the show was 'Vinyl Cafe'. Doubt if most Canadians have even heard of it. They had some live music, tributes of Canadian songwriters like Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, Paul Anka, Stan Rogers, Bruce Cockburn, Niel Young, Gene McClellan, Robbie Basho, all musicians Canadians can be proud of for sure, a notable contibution to North American music! My hats of to you all on your good day. Don

Great show, hosted by a great story teller, Stuart McLean. Look for Randy Bachman's 2 hour show, "Vinyl Tap" as well, Saturday nights at 7:00 EST. He's a wealth of music trivia, every show focuses on a different theme. You won't be dissapointed.

And thanks for the birthday greetings! Still a very young 139 years!

Everybody in Canada cooks their Christmas turkey according to the teachings of 'Dave' on the Vinyl Cafe.
