when nasa discovered that ball-point pens didn't work in space they proceded to spend over $2bn developing a pen that would write in space, upside-down, underwater, in temperatures between -10 and 100 celcius (i think), etc...the russians used pencils...

cool, but -10 celcius the ink would frezz and and 100 celcius the pen would (proplby) melt. and what does this have to do with Canada?

i think that's the point though-so that it wouldn't freeze or melt...and it was, apparently, the funniest joke in canada in a pole that was taken last year...
