Can anbody advise me about flights from London to Canada and then how to have a cheap holiday there for a week or so. I'd be into outdoor stuff more, riding, running, mountain biking, hiking etc.

Flight, well I was hoping for an offer, maybe $400 return. People have said we can pay that little.

Any advice much appreciated.

Ciao amici,

First of all, you should listen to CFT, because the heads up is sound.

Then, go to

http://www.kilroytravels.com/

If you find it cheaper than in there, you're buying tickets from the Colombian Drug Cartel Airlines... and the stewardess plants a cocaine ball in your stomach while you're sleeping. Beware!

Third window to the right, sir.

Bring your signed application with one b/w photo, pee and crap samples, and a certificate of good standing with your local gang.

Next!

This site only lets you select Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland or Holland as your country of origin. How are you supposed to select London, England?

As far as having a cheap vacation in Canada, it's not hard if you're coming from London considering GBP£1 is equivalent to CAN$2. But if you want to cut costs, I'd recommend camping. In Ontario, check out the Ontario Parks website:

http://www.ontarioparks.com/english/index.html (general info and find parks)
http://www.parkreports.com/fees/fees.php?year=2008 (fees)

A campsite will only run you $37.35 maximum, and that's with all the bells and whistles (i.e. electrical and showers). As for food, CFT made a great suggestion about bringing your own. If you can't/didn't, just about any small town in Ontario will have a cheap grocery store and small mom & pop restaurants that serve good, cheap food.

The same should apply in any other province, but I've only travelled out east so I don't know what the score is in BC or the prairies.

You can select it as departure.

But also it may be because that's the Nordic site. But you can google Kilroy Travels, and it's a global company, as far as I remember.

I'm sure widget will put you up if you go over to Vancouver Island. Ask him for the hook up.

You have a discount airline that flies outta London to various cities within Canada. Check them out for cheap flights. They have a website. It's not hard.

Or are you looking for someone on here to act as your travel agent and do the work for you.

It'll be worth it to visit Widget and experience all the drinking, fighting and fornicating first hand.

Bit of both 🙂

Don't know anything about discount airlines that fly that way though, neither do Canadian people I know. Anybody prepared to name names?
