All the pieces seem to have disappeared from my games just recently, along with several other strange happenings on other sites using firefox. I think I may need to clear the cache, but I don't know how. Guidance, please?
Edit: I can still see pieces in IE. And I don't use any Greasemonkey scripts when I use firefox.

Tools > Clear Private Data
Tick "Cache" and everything else you want to clear, then hit the "Clear Private Data" button.
