my Travelling Wilbury's cd (with a chunk missing from the outer edge) played the last half of the album!
I was the unfortunate victim of an apartment fire some four or five years ago and I recall coming home from work to find my roommates on the front lawn watching flames pour out of my friend's bedroom. It was probably the worst feeling in my life.
Eventually when the fire department let us in to retrieve whatever stuff was left, the first thing I ran for was my two giant binders of CDs which, incredibly, were unaffected by the smoke and heat (the actual fire never spread past two rooms), however everything else with the exception of a bag of clothes was unsalvagable. Granted, I didn't own very much at the time (just finished University 6 months earlier) but it was still everything I owned.
So while you were lucky enough to have only your CDs taken from you, imagine living your life with only your CDs as possessions.
Effing rough, man.

my mistake...correction...the first half...not sure how you come up with it playing all of it though...
