i brought a subaru legacy rs 1990 a little while ago. had some mechanical probs. with the car and want to get rid of the engine, replace it with a newer FASTER subaru engine. any thoughts on a good engine selection?

no. a friend of my brother's. it was allright when i brought it, i just love to thrash cars more than i should.
would 'tommybear' know of a good engine to put in my baby?
