People as old as me probably remember the music of Cat Stevens from the early 1970s. He sold millions of records, and had some truly great songs. I remember when my son was a toddler I could always get him to fall asleep by singing "Moonshadow" to him.
After a near-drowning he converted to Islam and left pop music behind.
My local radio stations just played a few tracks off his famous "Tea For The Tillerman" album, and the DJ said Cat was releasing his first commercial LP in 28 years very shortly.
I certainly interested to hear what he comes up with.

And a few months ago, he was turned back from entering the US as he was on the 'suspected of being a terrorist' list. Hahaha - what a joke.

In a statement released by his record label Universal Music at the time, he said: "I want to make sure that people are aware that I've never ever knowingly supported any terrorist groups past, present or future."
