I was just having a conversation about the different ways people try to smuggle drugs through airports, and the topic of full cavity searches came up. I thought, well that's a pretty delicate operation - the staff who carry it out would have to be well-trained. but how is the training accomplished? are there people whose job it is to be cavity searched by trainee customs officers? or are there dummies custom-built so to speak for the purpose?
