I agree with Palynka. If you can even recognise most 'celebrities' by face, you have too much media exposure and should go and invent something or destroy something instead.

That's the reasoning for most people who end up playing online chess and or conversing in online chess site forums..

I was on my way to the top of the vending machine world myself, but the cruel hand of the reality slapped me down.

oh man, i choose not to have cable so i don't have to subject myself to the mediocrity that is celebrities. shame they manage to infiltrate into the secluded world of chess. I for one say they have no business in here at all.
All of that aside I have a tremendous hatred for the Olsen twins.

To bad non-cable programming almost completely revolves around celebrities. Even PBS has had to use celebrities to stay on the air.

At least with cable you get a mix of horrible actors and well known people, where as non-cable only gives you mainstream junk.
