So, someone stole my cell phone last week. I've been checking e-bay and craigslist in my area to see if anyone is trying to sell it.
Here is something that came up on Craigslist this week:
I have T-Mobile service and looking to use a AT&T phone but needs to be unlock. Does anyone know how to unlock phones so it works for T-Mobile Service? Name your Price!
I'm thinking this sounds suspicious, what do you think? My phone was through AT&T and I did lock it after it was stolen. Hmmmm

BUT the odds of it being your stolen cell is astronomical, or even the same word spelled right. 😕

I'll give it up, but I am NOT happy about someone else walking around with my cell phone with all my phone numbers conveniently located in the address book!
😠

If you had the serial number, maybe you could ring your phone company, and stop them blocking it.

Originally posted by huckleberryhoundI did block the phone the day that it happened, so whoever has it can't use it unless they figure out how to unlock it. And if they take it back to the provider (AT&T) they will peg it as stolen and confiscate it.

Oh well, another lesson learned.
