I have two time outs to decide.
It is unfair, that Iam placed in this position. It is Christmas, and I know everyone is busy, but I had to spend time looking through message logs, looking at profiles for clues, and searching public games to find my opponant has already been T/out in 3 tournament games, and not moved since December 7.So in future,I will hit the button at the first chance, unless someone tells me in advance.
In tournament games I don't hesitate to claim a time out. However, I don't claim time outs in other more casual games unless the person has basically stopped playing, i.e. hasn't moved in a month even after a reminder. I understand that some people don't consier rated games to be casual. To me the difference is this: In tournament games, one is facing many rivals who will claim T.O.s on their opponents, and rightly so. If you want to compete, you must claim them as well if you want to or not (and I have had to in some very competitive games...unfortunately). In an individual game it doesn't matter so much. I'd like to think that my rating has more to do with actually winning games than just clicking T.O.s. But I don't fault anyone for thinking otherwise. If I've agreed to a 7 day game for example, I better move within the specified time. I can't be upset at a person who calls me when I don't live up to that agreement. In a good game though, is it worth it to take it rather than win it? This is the question. To me it means more to win, and a T.O. is not a true win.

I make this pledge:
If I lose it will be checkmate,or I resign. It will never be that I abandoned a game.
