Originally posted by CoconutIt would seem fair, but once I challenged somebody legitimately and when he never moved I deleted the game. It struck me later that had I not done so perhaps I would have been able to claim a win. Then again, I don't take timeouts unless we're talking one month + without a move.
any games completed in under 2 moves are supposedly considered unrdated, though there has been a little confusion on the issue recently. I'm not 100% sure anymore.
Thanks.
Originally posted by asromacalcioIt has been known for certain players to observe your moving pattern then start a game with you with a one day timeout and no timebank. If you are a player who moves once daily they can then 'pounce' and claim a timeout if you log on a bit later than you usually do, during the day. Nasty. 🙁
What would be to stop me from finding ten inactive players, sending them a challenge and then claming the timeout when they don't move???
I have no plans to, but if I did would I win the games and get points for it?
Have I discovered a glitsch in the system?
Repeat, I have no plans to do this.
Originally posted by XanthosNZThats how I understood it. An open challenge couldn't be won without your opponent actively moving (or resigning). A game would just remain inactive until you or your opponent chose to delete it. If this has changed, it's news to me.
I thought you couldn't even claim a timeout in a friendly (that is not tournament, league, challenge or siege) game until the delete option was gone.
EDIT: Actually I'm almost certain.
Originally posted by asromacalcioI have a game going with the last and first move was me on Mar 05 19:16. I could delete but not timeout.
