In a word, refrain from sacrificing the permanent on the altar of the immediate with a rash decison to cut and run. At the very least, safety net your worldwide cyberspace friends by letting them know privately of any new, comparatively more civilized and subscriber competitive site (which offers decent format chess and normal boundaries of lively conversation) you've found.
