Cheque is in the mail !!

Honestly !! Having enjoyed the chess and comradery for several months, I've sent off my cheque to support this site and get one of those cute little Pawn Stars. I would encourage others to consider doing so as well so we can help support the site. I'm assuming significant time will pass while the cheque makes its way from the East coast of Canada to the UK and clears my account. In the mean time I'm restricted to only 6 games now and suffering from severe 'lackofchessitis' having been reduced from the previous 10 games fix. Six games move rather slowly considering time zones, work schedules etc.

I can't invite beyond 6 games but what if a pawn star player (with no such limits) invites me to play ? Would this allow me to increase my current number of games? If so anyone interested ?

Unfortunatly, until that star appears there is no way to increase your games. Make sure C&R know who the cheque is from so that they can give you the start ASAP.

I'll send you a game as soon as you get your winged star! It's gonna be a neighbour's fight! 😛

My Fiancee has lived one year in Newfoundland several years ago... She was living with her brother who was working for RCMP there. She always told me that it was a very beautiful province!

Look forward to the match Danforth !! Perhaps when I conclude one of my existing 6 games? Newfoundland and Labrador is indeed a beautiful Province from the fiords of the Northern Penisula to the thousands of miles of rugged coast line. Great folks, great local beer and cuisine, wonderful mixture of French on the southwest coast and English/Irish/Scots/Innu/Inuit elsewhere? I've been to Quebec on many ocassions and I understand why they call it La Belle Province.

When I get my Pawn Star perhaps we might suggest to the powers that be a Canada only tournament to flush out all the Canadians !!?? If we can pull them away from the hockey playoffs (Montreal fan here by the way ).
