a friend of mine is the only one that does not drive stick and does not play chess.

the rest of the family plays chess and drive stick.

i drive both and play chess. well. play is an overstatement.

anyway. it was kind of a joke. πŸ™‚

about shotguns: i like them.

I assume 'driving stick' is what I would call 'driving a manual'.

In which case, I play chess but don't drive stick. Does that instantly dissolve your theory for you?

How about this?

Of course there isn't a connection! What, you think you can draw that kind of theory from one family?! Maybe that one guy was ignored in his childhood and they couldn't be bothered teaching him how to drive OR how to play chess! Stop leaping to conclusions with no factual basis and learn a thing or two about logic and scientific method!!

There, that should do it. πŸ˜‰

..i took a stroll to hell this afternoon....i saw ravello sitting in a chair...he was reading a book...i said "hello and good day to you
mr ravello"...he looked up....turned the page and continued to read...i got bolder and stepped across the burning faggots to get
within a yard and threw out another "hello, and good day to you
mr. ravello"....by now he was perturbed by my loud voice and he looked up over pages of the book...his eyes not glaring but yet not
inviting...."it is hard to be polite, sir" he began, " when one does
not know the stature of the object...are you worthy of a polite reply ? "....well, said i in return...."actually, to be honest, no"....so
ravello returned to his book and i slunked off back toward the gates
of hell wiser and chastised....

I read Neil McDonald's Winning with the Kalashnikov while driving on the highway. When I arrived in town, I had to put the book down in order to shift.

I wasn't playing the Kalashnikov; just reading about it.
