I'm about to start a duffers chess league around the local pubs in Flintshire. Is there anyone here who has the skills to knock me up a quick logo that I can stick on posters, flyers, score sheets and the like?
The plan is to have teams of 3, and 30 minutes each on the clocks, no grading points so the atmosphere should be relaxed enough for people to have a pint and not feel too intimidated by the whole thing. Hopefully it will encourage people who can play chess to have a bit of friendly competition with neighbouring pubs, as most people i play in a friendly fashion against, won't come to our local club as they think they aren't good enough - even though they probably would be if they had a few lessons off a stronger player.
