I saw that chess set with pieces made like little glasses. So you full every piece with alcohol and when your piece is captured you have to drink the o.o3 brendy, jack daniels dose, or whatever is in it.
Imagine gambit player playing on that set, doing huge material sacrifices for initiative. The sacrifices would be less and less sound with each move 😵

Originally posted by ivan2908I definitely wouldn't capture any pieces if I had to play it that way. I'd rather lose. But I didn't know you disliked alcoholic drinks, too. 😛

Originally posted by NordlysNot necessarily but when playing chess I rather drink coffee. Coffee can make you more mad than alcohol. I remember "chess party" I had with friends two years ago. The plan was to play from 6 P. M. until 6. A. M. next day without break. In order to succeed each of us drank huge quantities of strong coffee. We played until 7. A. M. the next day. And coffee makes you hyperactive. At the and of the "party" (oh, I am such an nerd 🙁) we were half hallucinating, making new chess rules, with piece known as scissor which can teleport or BIG BOSS which explodes and self-destructs leaving massacre in the center of the board.

We actually played that bad chess variants for more than two hours, starting at 5 A. M. after 11 hours of playing chess.
Chess is a bad, bad thing, especially mixed with coffee.
