I watched it last Saterday. I really liked the film, though it was a bit distarbing/distressing/depressing in some places. Good soundtracks as well.

It was like watching someone's nightmere. I don't think a problem like that would arise and left unsolved in future though, do you? Or am I too optimistic?

I didn't know there was a movie out. The book was excellent.

EDIT: By the way, the correct title is "Children of Men". 😉

A brilliant film. Highly recommended. I haven't read the book by P.D. James, so I can't compare the film with the book though..

My wife really enjoys P.D. James. She does mostly murder mysteries. I think this book was kind of a departure for her. Anyway, the book was great. I'll have to make a point of seeing the movie. Thanks.

Brian Aldis first wrote about this theme in his book, Greybeard (1964). The idea is not original. The film is excellent, though.
