Any childhood foods, + and -, that stick out?
+ Lemon Ice, a.k.a. Italian Ice -- reminds me of summer night-time drives in New Jersey with the family, just for the heck of it. Eventually we'd stop and get lemon ice somewhere. (Gas was like 15 cents a gallon at the time!)
- Bread Pudding -- reminds me of my detested grandfather and his wife, unhappy times and nasty food.

A pretty regular routine when I was younger (I'm still a 'kid' for another month, but now I just eat whatever), consisting of Turkey, Chicken, Fish (which I couldn't and can't eat), Meat Loaf, Spaghetti, Spaghetti Pie, Pizza (Sunday Lunch only), and Tuna Casserole.
And pot roast, of course.
taking out the giants. So, take heart... calendar, mental, emotional, spiritual, overall maturity, etc., ages are all different and changing.

The mashed swede and roast parsnips served with school meals used to make me puke every time, but now I love all veg (except celery).
