A Chinese friend of mine, staying here, went home to china recently. Knowing that i like chess, she bought me a proper chinese chess board.
Unfortunately the game they know as chess is totaly different to the version we know. there is no colours on the board as such, and the king and queens spaces (and respective pawns) are sectioned off into triangles. The pieces also do not match our game.
I am now looking for info on how to play the game, any hints or help???

***PLEASE NOTE***
i would like to pre-answer all the future childish coments as follows. . .oh my god you are so funny, i didn't expect that one. your repertoire is the stuff genius, and would suit any harold loyd film...

thank you for your time🙂

A friend of mine gave me once one chinese board, with small metal pawns, towers, elefants and all. Very funny to play because of the cannon.

Enjoy!
