Before the kids we would have smoked salmon & scrambled egg on toast with a bucks fizz.

Now it's just the toast and a mug of tea..

Vodka and OJ. Maybe Vodka and spicey V8 w/a celery stick

Fry the panettone in egg? Sounds interesting and doable.

In the past I’ve enjoyed a bacon sandwich on thick soft white bread laced with just the right amount of HP brown sauce.

Yes. (Dip the panettone slice in a beaten egg on a plate and then fry it).

And the plum compote really makes it.

I also love panettone and espresso.

Here in the U.S. we'll have a "7 fishes feast" feast tonight.

Tomorrow, morning we'll eat a light meal of smoked salmon, egg and mozzarella wrapped in puff pastry. I prefer to spice mine up with a few drops of hot sauce...but no one else in the family seems to appreciate my approach. 😀
