I'm a turkey guy. All the trimmings, pigs-in-blankets, roasted potatoes cooked in goose fat, Brussels sprouts, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings and lashings of hot gravy.

Pudding? Meh, I can leave it and have seconds of the main course...

What's your line up for the 25th?

No beef...We had a vote Turkey, Chicken or Tenderloin beef roast....You already know the outcome. 😉

Lobster last X-mas, so we wanted to do something different again.

My Dad was a supporter of beef for Xmas lunch; I prefer fowl but I haven't tried goose.

A lot of people in this area are doing that now for Christmas, instead of the traditional turkey.

We'll be having traditional turkey this year, but next year I think I'm going to rally for lobster and crab. I'm drooling a year in advance.

I eat tofu spaghetti during my Winter Solstice celebrations... gets me instant street cred with the cool crowd (the anti-Christmas fanatics).

Crayfish, prawns, cold ham and turkey, lots of salads. Xmas Day will be cooler than usual but still warm enough.
