This year I am giving my wife all the instruments needed for a jug band I made a wash tub bass, I found a old washboard at a garage sale, spoons from a thrift store, 2 earthen jugs for diffrent pitch at an antique shop, a mouth harp, and I am in the process of making a canjo.
Now I need suggestions for next year.

A Black & Decker cordless drill is always handy for her little maintenance jobs around the house. And an extension ladder for when she cleans the windows maybe.
Oh, and a new iron would be a masterstroke.
