I think the church has by the most part evolved from what the First Epistle said. Being first is not always right. In those times women were not as educated or treated as they are today which was wrong then, and it is wrong today. No one should be held back because od gender or age. Women are natural teachers. And if a woman has already been teaching that long and has had no problems then I think the church should recognise her. Discrimination is wrong anyway you look at it. Be it Church or State. This is my Opinion.
