Has anyone else noticed that you can't claim a draw when you get down to a king & bishop vs king ending? I have a game that my opponent is shamefully refusing to accept a draw in (http://www.redhotpawn.com/gameanalysis/boardhistory.php?gameid=425973) - presumably he/she is trying to win on time - and I can't seem to claim the draw
Originally posted by pizzathehutthere is a claim draw button ... try that ... i imagine russ will put this in there some time.

Originally posted by angie88I have only very recently thought about it because I played a game with Knight Time that went to rook and bishop (me) vs bishop of opposite colour and pawn (KT). We agreed a draw but it would have gone down to the fifty move rule if I had been bloody minded about it (assuming no errors in play of course which is another thing 😉)
thank you 🙂

At least you have the 50 move rule eventually though.

Yes, the game in question is hopelessly drawn and under normal circumstances I would acceed to the draw, as I conceeded matches against pizzaman earlier. That lead to some independant analysis and some revelations that I had already suspected.
Simply put I am playing his engine. Its a 90% match with first choice moves and 100% over first and second preferences, across all of our current matches including the two I have resigned. Eight in total. A good test base I would have thought.
I ran the games past a collegue here at CU who has an obscene fetish regarding chess engines and then as a blind test ran those same games, with no prompting, to another acquaintance here at RHP who has a bent for these exorcisims and it was "snap" Identical results.
So, what do do. Given the climate prevailing on RHP at this time regarding cheating I was persuaded to hold off until the 'cheat squad' were empowered and then I could forward my evidence with an expectation of some justice.
No such squad has been empowered and it is looking less likely as the squabbles ensue. I was hoping Russ would get off his procrastinating backside and do something!
So, Im holding off the draw until the 100 half moves has been satisfied in the forlorn hope that Russ/Admin will have some policy in place by then.
I'm aware that I will not win any popularity contests here, but I would hope this issue transcends all of that. I'm saying that pizzathehut is cheating by using an engine to generate his moves in violation of the TOS, and I can prove it, if RHP provides a platform / forum by which I may present this evidence.
I was happy to let all this go anonomously to the cheat police but I was called out and you all just know what happens when someone rattles this cage.
