why can't i claim game (ID : 554388) ? i know the opponent did'nt move , but the timebank days are finished ?

games that haven't started (defined as less than 2 moves by each player) can't be claimed as T/O but can be deleted.
If your oppo isn't moving I suggest you delete the game and start another with someone else.

And for good reason too: otherwise it would be possible to search out inactive accounts, challenge them with low T/O games and then time them out when they don't move, claiming a win.

Russ / Chrismo have made sure that this particular cheat can't work: thus the game in question did not timeout.

I was not cheating . This person (billzilla ) made an open invite , and i responded . didn't know about the 2 move rule other wise i would have deletred a LONG time ago , as i can only play 6 games at a time .

I'm (pretty) sure Toe wasn't accusing you of cheating, rather he was pointing out why it is a necessary rule to prevent cheating. In your case you started a game in good faith and your opponent disappeared, which is unforunate. I hope you have better luck in your next one.

Absolutely no accusations from me!

I'm not in favour of any cheating accusations in the forums at all: give such to the site admins and let them deal with it.

No, I was just explaining why the system is as it is.

sorry , i didn't mean you accused me of cheating .... just wanted to state that for EVERYBODY reading this thread !!!! (some u win , some u lose , some you time out .........)

billzilla took something like 8 games and the just dissapeared..............

o well .i'll just continue losing in my other remaining 5 games! LOL
