What are the advantages or disadvantages of joining a club here on RHP? Does anyone care to enlighten me please? 🙂

The advantages are that it is nice to some people to belong.
The disadvantages are that belonging changes nothing.

Some clubs are there for the forums, and don't play alot of tournaments, some are more into the tournaments and very little forum chat. some are into a little of both, so there is something there for everyone.

you need to be careful. If you fall in with the wrong gang, it could hurt your opportunites for future eduaction and employment.

Pick a dozen at random and join them all. You'll find out that there are as many versions as there are clubs, and if there's nothing there to interest you it's easy to leave again - nobody even knows you've been there except the club leader. 🙂
