Collapsologists are, apparently, a new breed of thinker, committed to preparing us for life after civilization as we know it comes to an end.

[I just half-inched those words from an album review I was reading.]

Come on then, put on your collapsologist hat.

I won’t want to live a life after civilisation as we know it has come to an end.

I’m not too enamoured with it as it is at times.

It would be a chance to do more reading of actual books because, in the daytime, it doesn't require electricity.

Maybe the books would be exactly 100 words long and written on cave walls...or...subway walls...by prophets...

...but not the kind that would be mentioned in the Spirituality Forum...

Well your theory is BS but if it does come to pass then Hakima is my wife.

She will be my Queen and I will be King of the Retards 🤔

Better off without it then; the thin veneer of belief and mutual reassurance that we're doing okay. I've never been all that civilized anyway so I probably wouldn't notice much difference.

Maybe a beautiful civilization will begin after this one collapses. Surely all the Bond villains can't have been wrong?
