doesn't he have a bad record with scoring goals at club level?
Before that he got something like 19 golas in the latter half of the season before for the Saints. So he's capable but was just unlucky with LFC at the start of his Anfield Career

Originally posted by davidtravellingok but he didn't score in 8 seperate games and the opposition that he did score against were weak, 2 against Greece and 3 against Jamaica, and the other 3 against questionable sides, hungary Urugauy and Trinidad and tobago.
12 games, 8 goals. Will he become Englands greatest ever goal scorer?
Only one goal in a competitive game!
Only started the game because of injuries to others, missed opportunities that really should have been put away.
No he won't be an all time top scorer, and long live Gary!

Oh please..
Crouchaldinho the lanky asparagus waste can only score against rubbish lacklustre opponents.
Let him come up against Cannavaro or Nesta and he won't have a sniff at goal.
