back in the day i enjoyed reading comics i enjoyed both Marvel and DC Marvel had Spiderman, Hulk, Fantastic 4, Avengers etc these were great and DC had Superman,Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern these were very good also but my favorites were the Marvel Comics what were your favorites?

I read all Spider-Man and X-men titles like a FIEND and read most Marvel titles every month. Bear in mind that I was raised in a convenience store and would never have to pay for them. I would spend hours after school everyday reading Marvel comics. I would rarely ever read DC comics unless it was Batman.

Secret wars was the best Marvel.


I got a miniseries called Demon (4 issues) from DC, but you're right....most DC was pants.

Buddy, I've read Secret Wars 1 and 2 and, while entertaining (1 more than 2), they pale in comparison to the Infinity Gauntlet. PALE, I say.

The Punisher was just a few years too early. Wasn't the Comics Code still the rule of the day back then? Seems like Frank had to be somewhat toned down in actually carrying out justice.
