Just an idea on which I would like other opinions. Wouldn't it be interesting if games, once finished, would be analysed and
constructively commented and published by another player, preferably by a higher ranked player (or by peers at the top level)? It could
serve severeal purposes:
- instructive for the players
- motivation, a kind of recognition of the value of the play (therefor it should be critical, but constructive)
- could be used to determine "awards", and , who knows, a torney report could be composed
Of course that would require players that want to spend the effort going over others' games, and a kind of coordination of who would look
at which game(s). Any suggestions? I would be prepared to do my part...
Sin.
I would consider it an option for the players - 2 years ago I never
looked at other folks game but in the past year I've got where I enjoy
trying to figure folks out thru there moves. Its said the more you
understand others the more you understand yourself... And that the
best way to understand a person, people or culture is thru the games
they play and how they play them.... Course I soound way too serious
here. I think annotation should be an option not a mandate but a
worthy option nonetheless
What we will do on this is that if there are some really good
games...people can submit them to the theory forum and I or some
others will annotate them.
Plus I think all games should be emailed to sintubin and myself and
then islanddoc has said he will database them...and maybe for a
small fee he can put them on a 3.5 disc and send them to people.
