Complicators and Simplifiers...

Complicators and Simplifiers populate every city, town, village and hamlet on God's green earth. All of us probably exhibit both tendencies depending on situations and at various times. Must admit I'm generally inclined to attempt to complicate chess positions, particularly against stronger opponents. Otherwise, I strive to be a simplifier though obviously often fall short of the goal. So take a look in the mirror of your own soul... what image do you see? Does it vary with circumstances and/or other factors?

Please Google 'Occam's Razor' for interesting background on this fascinating point of view. Believe you, too, may find it helpful.

That's a pretty good example of simplification.

And now, the thread has been reopened with an additional question: Natural gluten-free multigrain pasta or traditional? (An example of complicating)

I vote the latter. Come on that's like saying beer or light beer. If you're going to drink beer, drink beer.

My dietician advocates multigrain in pasta as well as breads and other

bakery products. My personal preference is tradtional pasta prepared

al dente. In breads, I follow her lead with gluten-free. Great probe,

Coquette. Close to home, almost as if you've been reading my mail.

😉

By the way, Mr. CP, wondered if you noticed that two of the double doors (front

and back) were intentionally ajar and that the kitchen light was left on for you.

Budget can always handle a little genuine hospitality. Thanks for leaving pirate

and your other rowdy friends downtown at the Neon Lounge quaffing cheap suds,

so that the rest of the household could soak in some very much needed sleep.

P.S. Feeling my oats and leaning toward suggesting that OF#3 goes direct.
