My damn screen keeps locking up when I'm on RHP (and rarely on other sites); is there a simple command to close the window?

I expect lame jokes for the next 5 posts - then an actual answer would be nice.

Alt + F4

If that doesn't work, try Ctrl + Shift + Esc to get to your Task Manager and then select your browser under the Applications tab and click End Task.

Also, as a last resort you could try offering to buy it's daughter.

When you are desperate to close a program or browser you can go to "task manager" and highlight the offending program, then click the "end task" button.

Task Manager can be found by right clicking on the clock/time in the bottom corner of the screen.

This would be a temporary answer.

edit: as said above by Daemon. 😀

Use Send Feedback feature.

Tell the admins your problem, tell them the browser and version you use.

Threaten legal action if they won't help you.

Have fun!

I would actually investigate the cause of the problem. Have you swept your computer for badware/spyware/viruses? This is not one of those sites that look like a ping pong machine fully laden with flash that could bring any computer to its knees.

I have AVG; isn't that supposed to do that?

AVG is for Virus.

Get Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware for Malware.

This was suggested to me some time back if you see my thread worried about my pants being down online.

AVGFree gives users a false sense of security because AVG sells the Antivirus/Antispyware/Firewall etc separately and the "free user" will most probably have no protection against real dangers on the net. A slow computer could mean your pc has been compromised and the bad guys are using your connection or viruses "eat resources" by opening tonnes of stuff.

How often do you clear your 'browser cache'? Something is causing the freeze ups, and while spyware is usually the cause. It could also be the browser cache as well as firefox using to much ram. Fire fox is great but it is a memory hog. Might want to minimize your extensions if you use firefox. All the other suggestions are good to.

Control +alt +Delete pulls up the Task manager also.

This is a good tool: http://www.iobit.com/advancedwindowscareper.html

It's kind of a tune up tool, all in one. I use it every day before I open my browser. Keeps everything polished up, and running smooth. I highly recommend it.

You can thank me latter.

Here one can see the AVG toolbar causes problems (even if this is not an ASP site). There are better alternatives than AVG.
