I'm not sure what to say after this thread title. How do you feel about counseling?

It's good to talk.

Although the evidence is scanty.

Sometimes it helps to have an impartial opinion.

The person counseling can only go by what you tell them, so you have to be perfectly honest with them, or no need even going there.

The Ghost would offer you counselling sir, but progress may take a decade or two.

Yours professionally,

Goad,

Thank you for your kind offer but I'd sooner see Maiden Gertrude. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I will most likely not be around in couple of decades anyways! ๐Ÿ˜›

GoaD's going rate is 1200, in advance, and there's no money-back guarantee if you're still screwed up when's he's done with you.

Lol lol.
In fact, you're likely to emerge from his counseling sessions with no more than a new appreciation of cats, cheese and tank tops. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚

If you're serious about the counselling, google Carl Rogers.

Even better look for something you knows the methods of Rogers and practises "Person-centered therapy" but then there are other brands of therapeutic Schools which proved themselves fruitful for their Clients.

True old chap, and different therapies work well for different people. I do though, personally, have a high regard for Person centred therapy.
