What the hell is the fascination with all the "10 favourite...." or "pi$$ vs cr@p" threads?

I mean does anyone really care the favourite colour/breakfast cereal/types of underwear of the rest of us?

I think not.

What has happened to the interesting threads? Like...ummm....well ok I cant think of one right now. But they've surely taken a turn for the worse in the past couple of weeks, have they not?
