This is unbelievable, before following the link think of what would be a very good average from 10 innings.

Not quite as impressive, but at least I'm in the top 100:

I reckon you're a kind of reverse drug-cheat (i.e. the fewer drugs you take, the more runs you get).

Actually I hit 547 runs last season, but we didn't have a stats package and the club secretary failed to input the data.

This thread has reminded me of the time Phil DeFreitas decided to reinvent himself as an off-spinner. In the middle of a one-day international.

You quite clearly have some talent with the willow so why are you playing Sunday cricket ?

I've played a couple of Saturday league matches this season, but I can't make Sat very often and it's a 100 over match, which is a long day in the field.

I am always of the opinion that if you are good enough to play at a higher level then you should. However if you can't make 3 out of 4 saturdays then captains will probably ignore you anyways because of wanting a settled team.
