Looking back, I deserved all I got..... I tend to pay for taxi`s nowadays.
You got clobbered by a taxi driver? Bloody hell, I guess we were VERY lucky in our choice of drivers.

The ugly is there because of my false sense of modesty. I was also fishing for compliments for my story (thank you for obliging SirLoseALot 😀).


Actually I typed it through habit, but I don't expect baron to believe me LOL. I'm glad some people enjoyed reading my tale of woe.

By the way, for all those well wishers who have been sending flowers and cards (no one as yet, but I know you all just forgot) my friend's shoe made a full recovery.
