Okay. So after a reprep on my PC I can't get Cubase up and running again.
I did have it all configured properly and running through my MIDI keyboard. I am using the MIDI ports on the front of my Creative soundblaster Audigy EX sound card.
I have opened up my saved MIDI files, and it will play them back using its own sounds through the lineout of my soundcard, but it does not want to play through the MIDI out. In the past it has used the 'Live 2k MIDI Port II [C000]'. But when I run Cubase now it says 'Pending connections - Live 2k MIDI Port II [C000] - Assigned Port, Not connected.
I have had my PC in bits and checked all of the sound card's connectoins and they seem fine. The power supply to it, works fine on the floppy drive so that's out of the equation.
So wtf is its problem?
I have even tried shouting at it to no avail
