When I typed, it's in English. When I click on a thread, it is in English. Now, I know there are people from all over the world on here. Do the forums come in your native language, too, or is it English?

Thanks, that's been bothering me for awhile. Just something stupid I thought of.

Since you didn't capitalise American,I assume it was meant as disrespect and not a typo. 😉

What language do you propose I type in? I would like to communicate with as many people who read this as possible, and within the limitations of having an American keyboard. I haven't found that this forum's format accepts the usual ways for American keyboards to type things like accents, let alone beginning punctuation marks.

Bookcrossing.com has many forums, and some of those are language-specific as cut-and-pasted below:

Italian
German - Deutsch
Dutch - Nederlands
Español
French
Português
Ελληνικό - Greek
Finnish - Suomi
Scandinavian

If you'd like to propose a similar thing on the Site Ideas forum, go for it.

Edit -- the original post was Bowmann's -- sorry.

I always type in Norwegian or German, but when I post it, it appears in English. Weird.
