Kim sent a Word document containing the following:

Customer Support Representative Full & Part Time Role

We're looking for a web savvy and motivated individual to join the Customer Support team of our rapidly-growing, Wellington based company.
You will join a team of devoted and enthusiastic individuals who provide email and phone support across the Trade Me network of sites. This currently includes TradeMe.co.nz, Oldfriends.co.nz, FindSomeone.co.nz and SafeTrader.co.nz - a growing customer base of over 800,000 customers.
You will require good judgement and clear decision making skills. To succeed in this role you will need to be self-managing and self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly.
You need to be able to work in a fast-paced, highly flexible environment and exhibit initiative when under pressure. You will also need a proven customer focus and experience in dealing with customers either via email or on the phone.
You will need strong communication skills both written and oral, and some experience of dealing with customers face to face. You will also need to have a lot of experience using the web, including Trade Me (and preferably our other sites).

Shift may require you to work one weekend day a week.

Heya Kim,

Sorry to be more of a pain in your proverbial rear but can I ask whether you are looking for part time or full time? I am currently embarking on the greatest journey of my life, tertiary education, but I do not want to miss out on such a prime opportunity to enrichen my wellbeing and livelihood. In fact as my semester just finished (my last exam was Wednesday, you have good timing ) I am willing to switch to part time study if that will assist in my getting the job.
Also, as I am generally unexperienced in the workforce my CV is a little bear (so cute). I can however, get you copies of my NCEA and Bursary transcripts, a letter from my school and my uni marks to this point. Would this be suffficient to put me in the running for a place on your high energy team? If it helps my case TradeMe is almost the sole reason for my existance. I like to look at all the expensive auctions and imagine what it would be like to own those items. It's pretty cool. Better than Television even, which is good as I tried to buy a television from TradeMe but I got stiffed :-( .

Hope to hear from you soon Kim,

Gavin

I am sorry to here that Kimmy, after I have finished my weekend of entertaining and fufilling activities I will give my full attention to the task of preparing my Currikulum Viate for your perusal. As per usual, I do not entirely entertain the expectation of securing a job out of my efforts however if one never attempts anything one will achieve nothing or so my mother always said.

Salutations,
Gavin Esq.

You shouldn't be hired for any job if you spell 'sufficient' with 3 f's, and 'job' with an 'r'.
