I'm flying to the UK in the Spring to visit family in Northern Ireland and friends in London. Does anybody have any recommendations as to where I can find a cheap flight? Also, what's the most efficient yet economical method of travelling from Belfast to London?
I look forward to meeting up with some of you jerks...

Originally posted by darvlayWell I had a quick look and you can get flights for the 1st of April now for 0.05 Euros both ways excluding taxes. I have no idea how much the train from Belfast to Dublin will be though.

I once took the ferry from Belfast to Liverpool, which was surprisingly cheap (especially considering that a luxurious dinner and a single cabin were included), a fun way to travel, and it didn't cost much extra time because I travelled over night. That was more than ten years ago, though, so things may have changed (it was also a special offer for students or young people, I think). I also don't know how much the train from Liverpool to London would cost.

A new dilemma:
I don't really want to go to Belfast to see my family. Would it be wrong of me to hide the fact that I'm visiting the UK from them and only go to London?

Family are tres dull.
Will you be able to score me some drugs? (Just kidding. My friends will be able to do that, I'm sure...)
