Dear Santa Claus,
please bring rookie a kipper,
for if RHP were a ship,
I'd gladly have him as skipper.

please bring Torunn a cat,
for she makes our world feel plumpier,
when everything else seems flat.
Dear Santa Claus,
please bring Wolfgang a fleece,
shelter the fellow from Brexit,
deliver a dollop of peace.
Dear Santa Claus,
please bring Rusty some tights,
he likes to walk in them briskly,
but please spare him from fights.
And dear Santa Claus,
please bring Ponderable a star,
we'd merrily follow him anywhere,
...as long as we can get there by car.
