@Torunn saidWe’ve come a long way since those times. Look at women, getting the vote, men allowing them to work outside the home, we’ve even let them drive.π²
Is that so? π Women learned from the very beginning to stay in the background, taking it easy quite happy doing a good job with the children and the household. Men simply had to get organized, thrilled in their hunt for mammoths and other creatures and making wars with neighbouring tribes. No wonder they were short-lived.
@Great-Big-Stees saidIndeed we have - we even manage without you some or most of the time. π

@Torunn saidπ² What? That’s not possible…or is it?π€
Indeed we have - we even manage without you some or most of the time. π
@Great-Big-Stees saidI wouldn't go as far as saying you are made redundant... π Overrated might come closer to the truth. j/k
Shocked doesn’t come close to what I am. π±
@Torunn saidOk πbut just how far would you go?π€
I wouldn't go as far as saying you are made redundant... π
@Torunn saidWell I think it’s a matter of, “six of one, half a dozen of the other”. A no win situation.π’
As you will see, I edited my post.
@Great-Big-Stees saidYou know I'm joking Stees, I have no clear opinion of this. We are all individuals.

@Torunn saidAs it should be torunn. The world would be very dull, were we all likeminded.π

@Great-Big-Stees saidVery true, Stees. It's getting late here so good night. π΄

@Great-Big-Stees saidGood afternoon, this chilly, quiet day. It's a day for reading so I will finish "Dead Lions" by Mick Herron as there is a waiting list for it. The writer is said by some to be "our generation's John Le Carré" and "Great Britain's new thriller master" and this is his second book about Slough House and Jackson Lamb. I'll try the third as well, "Real Tigers" before I make up my mind what I think about them. π
Good morning.π
